It is also used as the catalyst in the processing of polyurethane plastics and analytical reagent for chemicals. Besides, it is applied as gas chromatography fixing agent. 4-Methylmorpholine, CAS 109-02-4, and hydrogen peroxide can generate N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide, which is the spinning solvent for Lycell (also known as green fiber) and Newcell artificial filament.
